THE
LANGUAGE OF WAR IS NOT
THE LANGUAGE OF PEACE
Whatever the
subject: The release of prisoners, the Temple Mount, continued
settlement activity, the safe passage, the five percent, the third
deployment, the Palestinian economy, "government lands", the border
crossing, the sea-port, each and every controversial subject - the Barak
government does not know how to negotiate with partners in a peace
process. |
The government decides and implements as if there were not partner; it
tries to dictate its will by force; it uses the rough language of the
commander.
There is not even a pretense of
negotiation between two sides moving towards a historical
reconciliation, but only the relationship between masters and servants.
This is merely the
continuation of the
conflict by other means.
